Secret Startup Magic Leap buckles up against Microsoft Holo Lens with Mixed Reality
Magic Leap has been the prolonged subject of discussion for many companies in the field of AR(artificial reality) and VR(virtual reality). Simply said, Magic leap is a US based startup with around a small $1.4 billion investments from various companies including Google and Alibaba. Still doesn't impress you?? The company reportedly works on a combination of AR and VR irregular from traditional works... on the so called 'Mixed Reality(MR)'.

Technology seems to be compromising enough for google and alibaba. Magic Leap has not released any 'technical' details of the product. But thorough study of their patents suggest use of different kind of display - 3D display using 'Compressed light fields'. This can allow images from the real world and artifical world enter into the cornea at the same time, thus creating a virtual world of endless adventures.

Intuitive learning will be a thing of the past. Leaving aside the great scope in school children, Engineers always have a hard time in learning the real world existence of shapes in their 'graphics' paper.MR can create interactive objects to play with the virtual model and learn at a greater pace.
Mixed Reality even has the capablity of avoiding smartphones forever, which may be a matter of the future, but we can expect that to happen soon.
