OnePlus 5 to be released on June 20, Has the OnePlus gone short of Designers?

The much expected Smartphone from the OnePlus , the OnePlus 5 is expected to be released on June 20th  12:00PM EDT as in their official website. Since the release of OnePlus One, People has been anxiously waiting for each release from the OnePlus family.This time OnePlus has made laborious changes in their new release, as seen in the teaser and leaked pics.

OnePlus is a Smartphone manufacturer founded in December 2013, notorious for washing in the competition from other zenith brands to their side. OnePlus manufactures very small number of smartphones in a year. Ones they do are masterpiece of craftsmanship. From their previous releases i can be sure of one thing, the product after arduous designing  and engineering, always will be a prodigy.

OnePlus has released the teaser showing excitement of celebrities unboxing new smartphone in special packaging. Looking at the new design, any noob can sense the similarity with the Iphone 7. With the similar dual camera setup, flash and branding at the rear, designers at the OnePlus did not have to struggle at all, i believe.

Expected specifications of the new prodigy has already caught the attention. Display has an optic AMOLED 5.5 inches with a pixel density of around 500 ppi. Processor is expected nothing short of Snapdragon 835 octa core. It may come coupled with Adreno 540 GPU and 8 GB ram. Camera has to be the best as usual,currently with a dual 12MP for depth in images.Phone is expected to be mounted on Android 7.1.1 Nougat. OnePlus is sure to be back with C-Type connector and fast charging technology. As a change from previous version i believe the fingerprint sensor to be mounted on the front of the device rather than rear.

Summing up the info, we find the new OnePlus 5 to be short by nothing in terms of specification on paper. But the design seems to be much of an Iphone look alike. It takes time to know how OnePlus fans take the change in design. I believe this change is sure to build more fans as it contains the built of Iphone and wonders of Android baked in a recipie of high end hardware. It sure will catch more eyes after the release.
