Google Pixel XL 2 cancelled???

Bad news to all google fans out there!!! We’re talking, of course, about the Google Pixel and the larger Google Pixel XL 2. The expected codenames of upcoming Google handsets is Walleye(Pixel 2), Muskie(Pixel XL 2), and Taimen, where Taimen is rumoured to be a brand new Tablet. According to sources, Muskie won’t become the Pixel XL 2 this year. Instead, the Taimen will probably be known as the Pixel XL 2.

To be specific, the device codenamed as Muskie will not be released. Instead of that, the 2017 Google Pixel XL will be based on the model codenamed as Taimen. This decision has been taken by Google because it will launch the Taimen with a larger display than originally planned. It is not known yet how large the screen will be but it will be definitely bigger than 5.5-inch.

A tipster told 9to5Google that Muskie was

canceled due to battery life issues and other

cost-effectiveness goals. The report shows, Taimen is made by LG and not by HTC as it was initially expected.

This may come as a bad news for the Google fans. But  a larger and smarter set can be expected from the leading enterprise. Moreover you should keep in mind that if Google has taken a decision, they must have thought it out thoroughly.
